In these divided times, it’s easy to feel angry when talking heads are looking for any difference of opinion to exploit.
We need an everyman to bring people together, using the power of comedy. Could Stephen K Amos be our man?
He says of his new show, Everyman, which is at the Hazlitt Theatre in Maidstone on Saturday, January 18, and Folkestone Quarterhouse on Thursday, January 23: “I’m very fond and pleased with it. I think there’s a maturity to the show; I’ve got peace with myself in terms of not having to show off.”
Of the title, he says: “Is it every man for himself, or is it that humanity will only survive if every man pulls together?"
