Pop group Sugababes are the latest artist to be added to a star-studded outdoor concert series.
The girl group will perform at Margate’s vintage fairground, Dreamland, in September as part of the Margate Summer Series alongside the likes of Texas, The Libertines and UB40.
Tickets go on sale today (Friday, February 21) at 10am and can be booked online here.
The chart-topping group will be joined by Spice Girl Melanie C, who will warm up the crowd with a set of throwback hits.
Melanie C, also known as Sporty Spice, was one member of the ‘90s five-piece who scored No. 1 singles with the likes of Wannabe, Spice Up Your Life and Say You’ll Be There.
News of the noughties band’s Kent gig comes just a few months after Sugababes announced a huge UK and European tour later this year, with arena dates across the country in cities such as London, Manchester and Cardiff.
The three original members – Mutya Buena, Siobhan Donaghy and Keisha Buchanan – reunited under the name Sugababes in 2019 and, after delays caused by the pandemic, they announced their comeback tour in 2022.
Sugababes, who performed at Rochester Castle last summer, are known for songs such as Freak Like Me, Round Round and Push the Button.
Their string of singles in the 2000s saw them achieve six UK No. 1 hits, six BRIT Award nominations and four certified Platinum albums.
Sugababes will perform on Dreamland’s Scenic Stage on Friday, September 12 2025.
