Sydnie, who has already visited Canterbury’s Marlowe Theatre as part of her first solo tour, became a familiar face last April when she performed her rendition of Tomorrow from the musical Annie for the BGT judges.

She was sent straight through to the semi-finals by Amanda Holden, who pressed the Golden Buzzer after her performance, and progressed to the final with songs such as Frank Sinatra’s My Way and Judy Garland’s Somewhere Over the Rainbow.

In June last year, Sydnie won the ITV talent show, securing the £250,000 prize and a spot on the bill at the Royal Variety Performance.

Sydnie also stepped into the sparkly high heels of Fairy Christmas as part of the Orchard West Theatre’s panto, Sleeping Beauty, in Dartford last year.

Her debut album, My Way, includes new recordings of the songs that audiences heard in the TV talent contest, along with a number of other covers.

Sydnie Christmas will be at the Hazlitt Theatre in Maidstone on Tuesday, March 30. You can book tickets online here.
