Think apples come in just red or green? Then it’s time to think again, as one farming attraction will showcase up to 30 different varieties this weekend.

Kent Life's annual Apple Weekend on Saturday, October 3 and Sunday, October 4, is a chance for visitors to try and buy at the Sandling attraction, near Maidstone .

Along with your stash of apples there’s a free apple cookbook featuring some old fashioned favourites to try with them when you get home, as well as the chance to sample a cider or two.

There will also be the usual entertainment on offer from animal experiences to tractor rides.
