The Big Feastival is fast becoming one of the highlights of our festival calendar.
Last year was our first experience of Alex James’ lovingly curated food and music extravaganza - you can read our review here.
The Big Feastival takes place on the Blur star’s farm in Kingham, Oxfordshire from August 23 to 25. It’s in the heart of the Cotswolds, and about a two and a half hour drive from Kent.
One of the great attractions of the festival is that the site is small enough to be navigable for families with young children but big enough to attract a great line-up.
Whether it’s the food, music or other entertainment you are going for, the 2019 line-up is looking good.
The opening day sees chart-topping sensation Lewis Capaldi on the main stage, following a DJ set by Rudimental, festival favourites Fun Lovin’ Criminals and reformed Britpoppers Sleeper.
Saturday welcomes acts including Jess Glynne, Grandmaster Flash, Nina Nesbitt and Dodgy while Elbow will close proceedings on the Sunday night.
For the foodies, the Neff Big Kitchen will host some of the world’s best-known chefs including Raymond Blanc and Tom Brown.
And in keeping with the theme there will be a huge range of stalls selling delicacies that go far beyond the standard festival fayre.
Feastival is also great for kids, with stars including Justin Fletcher appearing across the weekend.
Tickets - either for individual days or for the whole weekend with camping - can be booked here, with prices increasing as the festival gets nearer.
