It seems audiences can’t get enough of The Greatest Showman.
Alfresco Events are back this summer at the Kings Hill Sports Park with a screening of the hit film on Friday, July 6. More than 1,000 tickets were snapped up in less than a week and there are just a few left to buy on the gate.
The evening starts at 7.30pm, with the screening at 9.15pm. Organisers have thought of everything - there will be food and drink available from a range of vendors, and even a selfie mirror.
Alfresco Events owner Joanna Hillcock said: “We are really excited about this summer’s screening of The Greatest Showman. Its our biggest screening at Kings Hill."
The Greatest Showman has also proved a major draw for Luna Cinema fans, with screenings in the county selling out.
Highlights for the open air cinema screening specialists at four Kent locations include a special screening of The Italian Job (1969), accompanied by a full orchestra at Leeds Castle, while Swanley Park gets the first screenings in the county with Bridesmaids (2011) on Wednesday, July 11 and Grease (1978) on Thursday, July 12.
Tonbridge Castle follows next with screenings on Friday, July 20 of Russell Crowe in the epic Gladiator (2000), Julia Roberts and Richard Gere in Pretty Woman (1990) on Saturday, July 21.
Leeds Castle's classic 1969 Italian Job screening (1969) starring Michael Caine with full orchestra is on Sunday, August 2, followed by Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone (2001) on Monday, August 3 and Dirty Dancing (1987) on Saturday, August 4.
