From circus acts to variety shows, sunset sessions and big name DJs - Dreamland has packed them in this summer. Angela Cole looks at the line-up still to come.

DJ Sara Cox will be bringing the sounds of the 80s back this weekend.

The BBC Radio 2 DJ and TV presenter will be bringing the sell-out Just Can't Get Enough 80s to Dreamland on Saturday, August 18.

From Bowie to Belinda, Wham! to Whitney, Kylie to Kate Bush, and Tiffany to T’Pau, the night is a touring event with on stage dancers, 80s merchandise and Sara playing her favourite disco bangers.

The show has been running since last year but comes to Kent for the first time and is sold out.

She follows Pete Tong, Craig Charles, Norman Jay and Ana Matronic, who have all played the Margate venue this summer.

The following night, Dreamland Introducing brings the next generation of musicians to the Scenic Stage. Young musicians will perform between 3pm and 5pm on Sunday, August 19 for the chance to be crowned the inaugural Dreamland Introducing winner, securing the prize of a year's mentorship with industry professionals and access to support slots at up and coming Dreamland gigs.

Dreamland Variety brings host Brigitte Aphrodite to the Scenic Stage on Friday, August 24.

Headlining will be Dave Benson Phillips with Get Your Own Back where four contestants will have the chance to get gunged in silver slime. Visitors are encouraged to dress to impress for the silver and sequins-themed evening, with prizes for the best dressed/worst dressed.
