Indie icons The Vaccines are set to perform hits from their chart-topping back-catalogue at a seaside venue.
The group, who are promoting their sixth studio album, will play a night of riff-heavy tunes for fans at Leas Cliff Hall in Folkestone.
The four-piece are taking their Pick-Up Full of Pink Carnations tour to 14 intimate venues across the country.
The band, who first rose to fame in 2011 with the release of their debut album What Did You Expect from The Vaccines, have performed at huge venues such as London’s Alexandra Palace and Reading Festival in the past.
The album, which included hits such as If You Wanna, Nørgaard, Wetsuit and Post Break-Up Sex, was the best-selling British debut album of that year.
Their second album, Come of Age, was released in 2012 and reached No. 1 in the UK Album Chart.
The record spawned more successful singles for the group such as I Always Knew and Teenage Icon.
Pick-Up Full of Pink Carnations is the band’s first album since the departure of guitarist Freddie Cowan who left the group for the “foreseeable future” in March last year.
They will be supported on their upcoming tour by Teen Jesus and The Jean Teasers and Divorce.
The Vaccines will be at Leas Cliff Hall in Folkestone on Tuesday, February 13 2024. You can book tickets online here.
Tickets start from £32, excluding booking fees.
