Future stars of the stage are being called on to take part in a theatre company's summer tour.
Maidstone-based Changeling Theatre is looking for two apprentices to join its tour of two plays - Shakespeare's The Winter's Tale and Jessica Swale's Nell Gwynn - across Kent between June and August.
To apply, you need to be aged between 17 and 22 and able to perform with the company throughout the tour, and be prepared to travel to rehearsals in London.
Previous apprentices for the company have gone on to star in shows from Game of Thrones to the West End's Everyone's Talking About Jamie.
The tour this year goes to venues including Tonbridge Castle, Allington Castle and Walmer Castle, as well as a new venue this year - Bough Beech near Edenbridge.
Last year's apprentice, Hannah May from Kings Hill, said: "The experience and skills that I gained in those few months have been invaluable towards my current auditions to drama schools."
Artistic director Rob Forknall said: "The apprentice scheme is an important part of what we do as a proudly Kent-based theatre company. It has helped launch the acting careers of many local would-be young performers. Like previous years, we’re looking for someone who has aspirations to be an actor and would benefit from working with a professional cast and crew. They will learn the ropes and gain confidence in performing to large audiences in a wide range of unusual and interesting venues.”
Those applying need to be available from Bank Holiday Monday, May 27 until the end of the tour on Sunday, August 18. Auditions take place at the Hazlitt Theatre in Earl Street, Maidstone, on Saturday, April 27, between noon and 5pm.
