Prepare to be entertained by stories of panto dames and behind-the-curtain anecdotes as Lloyd Hollett celebrates his impressive career in the town where it all began.
Lloyd Hollett 30 Years in Showbiz is a look back at how one of the most recognisable faces in the county became enthralled with the theatre and ended up working on 19 consecutive Kent pantomimes.
His time on the panto circuit has seen Lloyd, 41, work with the likes of Nigel Havers, Stephen Mulhern, Shaun Williamson, Lee Mead, Sheila Furgeson, Gareth Gates, Dr Ranj, Toyah Wilcox, Samantha Womack, Rita Simons and Bonnie Langford.
Lloyd’s career in comedy has also seen him warm up audiences for Jim Davidson several times.
Despite being cancelled several times due to the pandemic, the one-man show has been rescheduled and is due to go ahead next month in Margate - just down the road from Lloyd's Westgate-On-Sea home.
With 30 years’ worth of backstage secrets and plenty of green room gossip, Lloyd has enough material to keep the audience at the Theatre Royal - where he performed on stage for the first time in their 1990 production of Oliver - thoroughly entertained.
Lloyd Hollett 30 Years in Showbiz takes place on Saturday, March 26.
