It's become one of the anticipated festive events of the Kent calendar, and now Christmas at Bedgebury is set to finally open, after its launch was delayed by lockdown.
The one-mile magical illuminated trail at Bedgebury Pinetum in Goudhurst - now in its third year - had been due to open on Friday, November 20, but a second national lockdown forced a delay.
And although the county is plunged into Tier 3 restrictions from today, as the event is outdoors, it has been given the go ahead.
Ticketholders will now be able to see the after-dark family-friendly sparkling trail light up the pinetum from Friday, December 4.
There will be woodland neon strings glowing in the moonlight, singing trees and an Electric Forest bathed in beams of colour, as well as a fire garden and the Tunnel of Light with more than 100,000 pea lights along the way.

Visitors can also keep an eye out for Father Christmas among the pines and firs.
The event is open on selected dates until New Year’s Eve, though the vast majority of dates are now sold out.

There are also outdoors trails elsewhere in the county, with Leeds Castle's Christmas at the Castle in its grounds and Hever Castle's Twilight Trail, in conjunction with Great Ormond Street Hospital.
