Prepare to be scared by the Inspire Pole Fitness Halloween weekend showcase at Deal’s Astor Theatre.

Instructors and students will be showcasing some spine-chilling supernatural skills. There will also be a raffle for Breakthrough Breast Cancer.

Can you find your way out of the Spooky Haunted Haystack Castle Maze? Families are invited to get lost after dark in the maize maze at Haguelands Farm in Burmarsh.

The Halloween event will also feature children’s games and a family funfair featuring a range of rides. There will be a prize for the best Halloween costume and a range of refreshments.

Get creative at Halloween-themed art and craft workshops at Hempstead Valley Shopping Centre in Gillingham.

The free sessions are suitable for all ages, from toddlers to adults. Participants will receive free mini chocolate pumpkins.

The workshops will be held in the large area outside Boots and children must be supervised at all times.

With only flickering candlelight to guide you, walk the house after dark and listen to the stories of past inhabitants, but watch out - they may be closer than you think.

The fun starts with a glass of mulled wine and ends with a two-course dinner in the Mote Restaurant.

Are you brave enough to visit Bodiam Castle after dark and solve the mystery of the Red Lady?

The medieval moated castle on the Kent/Sussex border is holding a mystery trail to celebrate All Souls’ Day - a religious festival on November 2 to remember the dead.

Those bold enough must solve the mystery of the elusive Red Lady.

The interactive ghost hunt is part theatre, part adventure game. Two hunts take place each evening, at 5.30pm and 8pm. Torches essential.
