A Tunbridge Wells band are to hold a summer-long music festival.

Local five-piece We Are Bandicoot are curating 6Daze of Summer, which will be held every Friday night, kicking off on August 4 and running through to September 1.

They have chosen some of their favourite bands and will be hosting the gigs at the Forum Basement at the Sussex Arms in Tunbridge Wells.

Each gig will be free to attend - music fans can just show up and show their support.

There will then be a closing party on Saturday, September 2 at the Tunbridge Wells Forum.

We Are Bandicoot, who formed in January 2013, released their debut album last year and will be familiar to many, with local appearances including at the Maidstone Fringe Festival. They have a new single, due for release on Friday, June 9.
