Tickets for new food, drink and music festival coming to Kent - Pub in the Park - are selling like hot cakes.
Chef Tom Kerridge's brainchild, the festival, which comes to Dunorlan Park in Tunbridge Wells from Friday, July 6 to Sunday, July 8, sold 40,000 tickets on the first day they went on sale -but there are still some available.
The event brings together celebrity chefs including Tom, Bake Off's Candice Brown, and local stars of the kitchen, including Stephen Harris of The Sportsman, with live music from the likes of Tom Odell, Razorlight, Sophie Ellis-Bextor and Mel C.
The Saturday afternoon session is now sold out, but there are still tickets for all other sessions.
Tom Kerridge, currently starring in Lose Weight for Good, launched the Pub in the Park festival in Marlow last year, and has extended it to three other venues this year, including Tunbridge wells.
There will be chef demonstrations, top quality shopping and famous chef and music names, as well as local artisans, pubs, foodie heroes and musicians.
In Tunbridge Wells, local chefs taking part include the Tanner Brothers from The Kentish Hare, Mark Sargeant from The Wife of Bath, Josh Eggleton from The Pony & Trap, Paul Ainsworth, Rob Taylor from The Compasses Inn, plus Kent-born Angela Hartnett.
Live music includes Tom Odell and Sophie Ellis-Bextor on the Friday evening, Toploader and Gabrielle Aplin on the Saturday afternoon, Razorlight and Mel C on the Saturday evening; The Christians and Sound of Sirens on the Sunday afternoon and, rounding off the event, Billy Ocean, Scouting for Girls and The Rifles on the Sunday evening.
