I was so pleased to hear that boyband The Wanted are coming to the county in July as part of the Rochester Castle Concerts.
The cheeky chappies are regular vistors to the kmfm studio, and they have a huge following here. Whenever they come down to see us there are always loads of fans waiting outside for them and the boys are really good with them, spending time talking to them and signing stuff.
I know lots of people will be really pleased they are coming down to Medway. The Wanted are headlining at Rochester Castle on Thursday, July 18.

I can’t believe we are already in the beginning of March! How does that happen?
How can it be Christmas one day and then nearing spring the next?
And one of the most important events on my calendar this month is Mother’s Day. I think my mum is perfect in every way and I feel so blessed to have someone like her in my life.
I haven’t lived at home for almost 10 years but she still worries about me and looks after me. My mum is one of the strongest women I know.
She has been through a lot with her own family in the past and yet she continues to take each day in her stride, smiling and putting a smile on the faces of the people she meets.
I call her ‘Mum bear’ and that’s exactly what she is whenever I go home. She will open the door and give me the warmest bear hug.
She taxied me around in my teenage years, sat with me in bed eating ice cream and putting on face masks when I was upset, told me off when I did something silly and now she is my best friend. I love her with all of my heart and don’t know what I would do without her.
