Two days of free fun and live music is lining up for the weekend.
The annual Dartford Festival will attract hundreds to Central Park in the town on Saturday, July 13 and Sunday, July 14.
Running for more than 80 years after growing from the town carnival, it is a mix of big name acts and local acts, and a feast of family entertainment.
Headlining on the main stage will be Lightning Seeds, best known for their World Cup song Three Lions, which topped the charts in 1996 and 1998 and had another airing for the World Cup last year.
Bjorn Again will be bringing the greatest hits of ABBA to the stage, promising to get everyone up on their feet for a dance.
Britpop favourites The Farm, whose hits included Groovy Train and All Together Now, while also spicing up your life will be Wannabe - The Spice Girls Show, who will be celebrating the career of the girl band with hits such as Who Do You Think You Are? and Spice Up Your Life.
Rochester-based James Taylor brings his quartet to the stage, with an energetic show featuring funk of the 60s and 70s and jazz-pop crossovers.
Other acts include The Dunwells playing tunes influenced by Bob Dylan, The Beatles and Motown, while Who Are You - The Who tribute will be playing hits from the mid 60s through to the 80s, and Rhythm of the 90s will play... hits from the 90s; newcomer Nick Corbin recorded his debut solo album in March with soulful tunes with a British edge, while Ry Robson brings his Oogie Boogie Band playing a high energy fusion of roots, boogies, 90s and hip hop and blues.
The second community stage features local talent with bursting with dance and theatre schools, performing arts groups and local organisations and there will be a funfair, food and drinks stalls, trade stands, games and other entertainment.
