Two top comedians are performing at Kent’s largest theatre in a weekend stand-up double bill.
Panel show favourite Maisie Adam and TV presenter Russell Kane are both performing their latest comedy tours at the Marlowe Theatre in Canterbury.
Yorkshire-born Maisie will be performing Buzzed at the theatre’s Studio, located on the upper floor of the venue, on Saturday, February 25.
The following night, Russell Kane will bring his sell-out show, the Essex Variant, to The Marlowe’s main auditorium.
Both shows are almost sold out, but you can book the final few tickets online here or by calling 01227 787787.
The theatre is known for its extensive programme of stand-up comedy, with the likes of Rosie Jones, Tom Davis, Judi Love and Tom Allen all set to perform at the venue later this year.
The venue also puts on its own regular Live At the Marlowe comedy nights which showcase big names as well as rising talent, with comics such as Sara Pascoe, Mark Watson and Nina Conti having topped the bill in the past.
Maisie, who was nominated for Best Newcomer at the 2018 Edinburgh Comedy Awards, has appeared on shows such as Live at the Apollo, A League of Their Own, Mock the Week and the Last Leg.
Essex’s own Russell Kane has been performing stand-up on the circuit since the early 2000s and has hosted a number of TV shows, including Live at the Electric and Britain Unzipped, as well as two chart-topping podcasts, Man Baggage and Evil Genius.
