Born in Fife, Scotland, Vettriano is one of the country’s most popular artists and in 2004 he was awarded an OBE for services to the visual arts.

The Classic Collection, a retrospective exhibition, will feature rare and new signed limited edition prints, featuring classic Vettriano images including The Singing Butler (1992), The Picnic Party (1992), Dance Me to the End of Love (1998), Mad Dogs(1992) and Elegy for a Dead Admiral (1994). Signed books will also be on sale.

The Classic Collection will be at Lovelys from Saturday, October 5 to Saturday, October 19. The gallery is open from 9am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday, and from 9am to 5pm on Saturday. Admission is free. Call 01843 292757.
