You may know him better as a frying pan-wielding comedian, but artwork by Vic Reeves will go on show this weekend.
In an exhibition entitled The Sound of Cutlery, Vic's work under his real name Jim Moir will be on show with that of fellow artist Steven Thomas at the Linden Hall Studio in Deal.
An accomplished artist, he has been making paintings, drawings and prints since the early 80s.
He records his thoughts and observations with abandon, with his imagined and experienced worlds being chronicled in an outpouring of ideas and thoughts beyond everyday life.
Steven Thomas studied at Chelsea Arts School and has a love of pop art, humour and colour. A fan of music from Miles Davis and Aretha Franklin to Mozart and Stravinsky, he says: "I listen to music endlessly. It is the perfect abstract art form. As it changes, so does my mood - so does my colour palette."
The exhibition is at the Linden Hall Studio in St George's Road, Deal, from Sunday, November 4 to Sunday, November 25, with a private viewing on Saturday, November 3.
The gallery is open from 2pm to 4pm. For more details go to lindenhallstudio.co.uk
