If you're dreaming of a White Christmas, one is coming to Kent - in musical form.
Irving Berlin’s classic musical White Christmas - which features the song made famous by Bing Crosby in the 1942 film - will be at the Marlowe Theatre in Canterbury.
The musical tells the story of veterans Bob Wallace and Phil Davis who, fuelled by love, follow the Haynes sisters Betty and Judy to a Vermont lodge for a special Christmas show. They then find the lodge happens to be owned by their old Army General and is in desperate need of their help.
The show features the classic songs Blue Skies, Sisters, I Love A Piano and the famous festive title song, White Christmas.
Mamma Mia!, Chicago and Cats star Sally Ann Triplett, who represented the UK in the Eurovision Song Contest twice in the 80s, plays Martha Watson.
Olivier Award-nominated Dan Burton plays Phil Davis, and Les Miserables and Miss Saigon star Matthew Jeans will be taking on the role of Bob Wallace.
The show has music and lyrics by Irving Berlin and is based on the book by David Ives and Paul Blake and the original production by Curve artistic director Nikolai Foster.
White Christmas is at the theatre from today to Saturday, November 20. Book by clicking here or call 01227 787787.
