Our classical music stars of tomorrow are hoping to be crowned the Marlowe Young Musician of the Year.
Open to all performers under 18, the 2013 title was won by 17-year-old trumpeter Matilda Lloyd, pictured left, who lives in Leigh near Tonbridge.
This year’s finalists will be showing off their skills in a concert at Canterbury’s Marlowe Theatre, accompanied by the Kent Concert Orchestra.
A panel of experts will announce the winner at the end of the evening.
It starts at 7.30pm on Tuesday, February 4 and will be presented by Classic FM’s Jane Jones.
Tickets from £14.
