Havoc, mayhem and one very cool cat are coming to a Kent theatre this week.
Purr-fect family fun, the stage show of The Cat in the Hat will be in Tunbridge Wells for a five-day run.
Based on the much-loved book by Dr Seuss that has captivated generations of readers, The Cat in the Hat features feline frivolity aplenty.
Acrobatic accomplices Thing 1 and Thing 2, riotous rhymes, spectacular circus and infectious humour is this production’s selling point, and it looks set to delight young and old alike.
The show stars Nana Amoo-Gottfried playing The Cat, who grew up in Kent, while Sam Angell plays the Boy; Melissa Lowe as Sally; with Thing 1 and Thing 2 played by agile Celia Francis and Robert Penny.
Executive producer Jerry Gunn said: “The cat’s out of the bag...We’re thrilled to be working with such a hugely talented company of actors and acrobats to bring to life the madcap mischief of one of the most popular characters in children’s fiction.”
The Cat in the Hat reaches the Assembly Hall Theatre in Tunbridge Wells on Tuesday, March 12 and runs until Saturday, March 16.
