A 25-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of drug-driving following a motorway crash.

Police were called to the London-bound carriageway of the M20 between junctions nine for Ashford and eight for Maidstone at about 6.30am.

A van was found to have left the road and one lane was closed while it was recovered.

The suspect, from Whitstable, remains in custody.
