This little bundle of joy is Heidi Latham, who became a Christmas Day baby by chance.

She was actually not due until this coming Thursday but decided to make an early appearance yesterday.

Heidi Julie Latham is the first child of proud parents Caroline Evans and partner Jay Latham, from Whitstable.

She was born at the Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother Hospital in Margate at 2.06pm.

Heidi weight in at 6lb 15oz, a little below the 7lb 7oz average.

A delighted Ms Evans, 28, said: “This is the best present we could have hoped for. Heidi is a real cutie.”
