Delays as emergency services attend crash on Clapham Hill in Whistable

Traffic was delayed following a crash between a car and a cyclist.

Emergency services attended the scene, which is thought to be near the Borstal Hill roundabout, in Whistable which connects the Borstal Hill and Clapham Hill roads.

The road was obstructed but reopened at 7pm.

A police spokesman said: "Kent Police was called at 4.42pm on Thursday 19 September 2019 to a collision between a car and a cyclist at the Borstal Hill roundabout.

"Officers are in attendance and the road is reported to be obstructed."

The cyclist was taken to hospital with an arm injury.
