A cyclist was seriously injured after falling off his bike.

The man crashed in the early hours of this morning in Clapham Hill, Whitstable.

He is thought to have been cycling down the hill at around 12.50am when he lost control and left the road.

He suffered head injuries and was taken to a London hospital.

Officers from Kent Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit are keen to hear from anyone who hasn't yet spoken to them.

The man was riding a bicycle described as having zebra print colourings.
