A pair of fearless dogs have been spotted clambering along roofs in Whitstable this morning.

The pair, thought to be a Staffordshire Bull Terrier and Collie Cross, were photographed by barman Andy Capon, who spotted the dogs while making a coffee in his kitchen.

They were seen on the rooftop in Cornwallis Circle just before 11am.

Middle Wall resident Mr Capon, 49, said: "It's so bizarre!

"I don't know who owns the two dogs or anything but I think they got up from a low terrace roof and have wandered along the top quite a way.

"I'm not a roving reporter but it's something that could only happen in Whitstable - it's the sort of bizarre thing that happens in the town.

"They're not there now. They must have got down OK but they definitely got up on the roof all right."
