Police and paramedics called to Windsor House in Belmont Road, Whitstable

Several police and ambulance crews have descended on a tower block in Whitstable.

Eight emergency service vehicles have been spotted at Windsor House in Belmont Road.

Photographs shared online show the cars gathered in the car park close to the entrance of the building.

One eyewitness told KentOnline: "Police officers are inside Windsor House.

"The garden to the rear has been taped off."

Police and the ambulance service have been approached for comment.

It has since been confirmed a woman has been seriously injured.
