CCTV image released after thefts and burglaries in Whitstable

Detectives have released a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with thefts and burglaries.

Properties in Northwood Road, Tankerton, and Chestfield Road, Chestfield - both near Whitstable - were broken into overnight on Wednesday, June 26.

Car keys were swiped from the two homes, with vehicles stolen from outside.

Police have linked the two incidents to the theft of cash and cards from a car and damage to another, both parked in Northwood Road that same evening.

Officers are now looking to identify the man in the CCTV image following a number of enquiries.

Police have said he may have important information that could help with the investigation.

Anyone who recognises the man in the image should call 01843 222289, quoting reference 46/123131/19.
