A man has been arrested after staging a rooftop protest in Whitstable town centre.
Police were called to the High Street at about 6.30pm after the "suspicious man" scaled the roof of one of the buildings near Gladstone Road.
Seven police cars including a dog handler were spotted at the scene.
Officers were also seen in an alleyway off Gladstone Road, reportedly trying to access the back of a property.
They managed to talk the man down, and he is now in custody.
A police spokesman said: "Kent Police was called to 6.32pm on 5 June to reports of a suspicious man on a roof in High Street, Whitstable.
"Officers attended and one man has been arrested in connection with the incident."
