Man from Strood charged after fight at Whitstable railway station

A 33-year-old man has been charged after reports of a brawl at a railway station.

Police were called to the scene in Whitstable at about 11.30pm yesterday.

They arrested Phillip Waldman, of Hawthorn Road in Strood, on suspicion of being drunk and disorderly.

He has since been charged with the offence and will appear at Margate Magistrates' Court on July 7.
