Man charged over stabbing outside Whitstable pub

A man has been charged over a stabbing in a pub.
The victim suffered a knife wound under his arm in the attack at The Prince Albert pub in Sea Street, Whitstable on Friday, September 29.
He was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
Jonathan Lawlor, 36, of Glovers Close, Biggin Hill, was arrested on Saturday and has since been charged with grievous bodily harm with intent, attempting to cause grievous bodily harm and possessing an offensive weapon.
He appeared at Medway Magistrates’ Court today, where he was remanded until his next court appearance on a date to be confirmed.
