A man left with face injuries after an assault at his Whitstable home has helped police create an image of his suspected attacker.
The victim - aged in his 40s - was upstairs in his home in West Cliff at about 8.30pm, when he heard someone enter the property through the front door.
He claims to have chased the suspect out into the garden where two other young men were seen, one of whom was exiting the victim’s shed.
The suspect is reported to have then punched the victim causing facial injuries, before fleeing the premises.
He is described as being in his mid-teens, of mixed race, 5ft 10in and of medium build. He was wearing a pale grey quilted jacket.
Nothing was reported stolen during the incident, which happened on February 8.
Detectives investigating the reported burglary and assault have issued a computer-generated image of the suspect, created with the help of the victim.
Anyone with information is urged to call the appeal line on 01843 222289 quoting reference 46/28182/19.
