Jetskiers rescued by Sea Scouts after starting to sink off Tankerton Beach

The scout motto 'be prepared' proved right yesterday when Sea Scouts rescued two jet skiers who got into trouble off Tankerton Beach.

The two passengers started to sink just before 4pm.

The Whitstable Lifeboat was scrambled but the Sea Scouts, who were training nearby, were first to the scene.
