A 40mph speed limit is being imposed along a stretch of the Old Thanet Way for five weeks.

The compulsory limit is set to come into force tomorrow (Monday), in both directions of the A2990, while gas mains replacement works are carried out.

The limit will affect the stretch from the Chestfield roundabout westwards, to the existing 40mph and national speed limit signs.
