Roxy, from Whitstable, has revealed she is still seeing the man she met on ITV dating show Take Me Out.

The 24-year-old scooped the first date of the programme’s tenth series, with Exeter University rubgy player Nick Pritchard.

In an episode that aired last week, the couple visited the island of ‘Fernandos’, where they went quad biking and for a romantic meal.

“Nick is a great guy,” said Roxy. "After our date in Fernandos we went to Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park. I’m going to see him this weekend."

The ambitious, 4ft 11in business studies graduate has also announced big plans for her career.

“I’ve just registered my own company, which is called Clexy,” she said.

Although currently working in Whitstable, she hopes to move to London to launch the brand, which will market dresses for petite women.

She explained the bizarre story of her pet ostrich's death, which baffled viewers during the first episode of the series.

“When I was younger, I used to live on a farm in Adisham,” she said. “My nan got two ostriches for the farm, and they were called Samson and Delilah.

“But then Delilah died, which led to the other one being renamed Keith and choking to death on a ham sandwich. We think a member of the public gave it to him.”

The new series of Take Me Out continues tonight, at 7pm on ITV.
