A 19-year-old man from Herne Bay has been arrested in connection with an alleged robbery in Whitstable.

Two young men were reportedly assaulted in Oxford Street at about 11.30pm on September 1, as they walked home from a night out.

They were approached by three men who are said to have asked them for money and took their wallets, which were then discarded when it was realised they did not contain money.
