Whitstable: Two arrested in Cromwell Road for suspected theft and drink driving

Two men have been arrested on suspicion of theft and drink driving.

They were pulled over by police in Cromwell Road, Whitstable at around 8pm last night while driving a black Ford Focus.

During a search, officers found items believed to have been taken from a nearby store.

The car was stopped in Cromwell Road, Whitstable (7393574)

A 39-year-old man from Faversham was arrested on suspicion of taking a motor vehicle without consent, drink driving, driving with no licence or insurance and theft.

A second man from Teynham, 44, was arrested on suspicion of taking a motor vehicle without consent and theft.

Both remain in custody.
