Two women and a teenager have been injured in a crash outside a busy retail park in Whitstable.

Emergency crews were called to Prospect Way, off the Old Thanet Way, after the smash at about 11am.

Two cars collided at the entrance to the Prospect Retail Park, which has been the scene of numerous accidents since it opened earlier this year.

The drivers, both women, were taken to hospital for treatment.

A teenager, who was a passenger in one of the cars, was also injured, but it is not known if they were taken to hospital.
