A busy road has been partially closed for works to be carried out by Kent County Council.

The A2990 Old Thanet Way, Seasalter, will be shut to traffic today and tomorrow between 9.30am and 3.30pm.

London-bound traffic will not be able to travel between Estuary View roundabout and the junction of Church Lane.

The alternative route is via Thanet Way, Borstal Hill, Joy Lane, Faversham Road and Church Lane.

Kent County Council is carrying out footway patching in the area.
