A man has reportedly been arrested for drink driving, after allegedly crashing a car into a Whitstable town centre pub.
At around 10.15pm yesterday, a red car was said to have been in a crash with another vehicle in Harbour Street, before smashing into the Quayside.
Police, ambulance, and fire crews are said to have attended the scene.
Emma Collins, publican at the Quayside, said: "A red car was going down Harbour Street - I think he was going at some speed.
"A lady in a car crawled out of Woodlawn Street and the red car just smashed into her. He was going so fast she wouldn't have seen him coming.
"She span around, and he crashed into the pub.
"Thankfully everyone's okay. The lady was taken to hospital, but I think she's fine now.
"Someone was out there smoking cigarettes just minutes earlier. It's lucky nobody was hurt.
"There was such a huge bang when the car hit - all the lights in the pub went out, and the clock stopped."
The driver of the red car was reportedly handcuffed at the scene of the crash, and arrested for drink driving.
The Quayside is open as usual across the bank holiday weekend.
Police have been approached for a comment.
