A popular comedian has been spotted enjoying a meal at a Kent restaurant so busy it has decided to expand.
Sarah Keyworth, who has appeared on television shows such as Live at the Apollo and Mock the Week, was pictured with her girlfriend at Birdies in Harbour Street, Whitstable.
The stand-up comic enjoyed several glasses of wine while on her weekend trip to the seaside, which culminated in a visit to the French bistro.
Birdies was recently granted permission to expand after finding itself repeatedly overbooked.
The 30-year-old performer shared a succession of pictures of herself and her partner enjoying the sunshine and exploring the town.
She captioned her post: “Went to Whitstable and all we did was wine.”
As a comedian, Sarah Keyworth has played at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and hosted her own radio show titled ‘Are You a Boy or a Girl?’.
She has also appeared on 8 Out of 10 Cats, Richard Osman’s House of Games and won the 2019 series of the reality series Celebrity Coach Trip.
Birdies is a family-run French restaurant that has been open in Whitstable since 1993.
Whitstable has welcomed several celebrities in recent years including Mia Khalifa, Aaron Paul and Jack Whitehall.
