A man was taken to hospital after a crash between a motorbike and a car this morning.

Police and paramedics were called to Saddleton Road at the junction with Borstall Hill in Whitstable at around 11.50am.

The man, in his early 50s, was taken to hospital with non-serious injuries and the road reopened at around 12.30pm.

Fire crews helped the man to remove his helmet and administered first aid before paramedics arrived on the scene.
