A crash on the Old Thanet Way has sparked long queues in Whitstable.

Police were called after a BMW and Peugeot estate car collided on the stretch between Millstrood Road and Long Reach roundabouts at about 10.30am.

Traffic heading Londonbound has backed up as far as the Tesco roundabout while emergency crews deal with the incident.

It is not thought anyone has been seriously injured, with paramedics at the scene checking over those involved.
