Whitstable: Fire crews tackle laundry room blaze in Joy Lane

Crews were called to a laundry room fire this morning.

The small blaze started on the ground floor of a property in Joy Lane.

Firefighters arrived on scene at 11.45am within four minutes of receiving the 999 call.

They were joined by a second crew shortly after and left the scene at noon.
