A drunk motorcyclist who crashed into trees while more than FOUR times the legal limit was found injured beneath his bike by a passerby.
Dominic Sullivan lost control of his Suzuki GS500 as he rode along Golden Hill in Whitstable, veering off the road and into the treeline.
A member of the public called 999 after finding the 49-year-old with the bike on top of him at 6.35pm on August 19.
Police and paramedics were called and Sullivan, of Ridgeway, Whitstable, was taken to hospital and treated for a minor leg injury.
There he was breathalysed, giving a reading of 142 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of his breath. The legal limit is 35.
Sullivan appeared before magistrates in Canterbury on Friday and admitted drink driving.
He was given a nine-week prison sentence suspended for two years and banned from the road for three years.
Magistrates also ordered him to pay £85 costs.
