Paramedics were sent to the scene of a medical incident in Whitstable last night.
Police were also called to assist at the premises in Horsebridge Road just before at 9.40pm.
A spokesman said: "Officers attended the scene and provided support to the South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAmb) who were treating a patient who had suffered a medical episode."
Police say it is not thought the incident is related to this weekend's Oyster Festival in the town.
They then remained at the scene to assist with crowd control for the pre-planned event that was finishing.
SECAmb have been contacted for comment.
