A woman and three men have been charged with GBH after a town centre attack saw two people rushed to hospital.
The victims, a man and woman aged in their 20s, were involved in a verbal exchange with a woman in Whitstable High Street just after midnight on Saturday.
The pair continued walking along the route before a vehicle - thought to be a black Land Rover Freelander - pulled over and four men got out moments later.
They were attacked by the gang, with the man sustaining serious face injuries during the ordeal.
Police have now charged a woman and three men with causing grievous bodily harm with intent.
Those charged are Lewis Jones, 26, and Shannon Cook, 25, both of Chapman Road, Herne Bay.
Cook has also been charged with two counts of assault.
Bradley Jones, 24, of Folkestone Road, Dover, and 32-year-old Alfie Scott, of Fir Tree Walk in Reigate, have also been charged with causing GBH with intent.
Following separate inquiries by the East Kent vulnerability investigation team, Alfie Scott has also been charged relating to an assault in Herne Bay on Saturday, and with arson, relating to an incident in Talmead Road, Herne Bay, on Sunday.
He has also been charged with a "malicious communications offence" in the town between Herne Bay between Friday and Sunday, and with assault occasioning actual bodily harm following an incident in September.
All four suspects are due to appear before Folkestone Magistrates' Court today.
The man and woman injured in Saturday's incident were both taken to hospital, but have since been discharged.
Detectives are continuing to appeal for witnesses to come forward.
