Super-fit Glenn Burgess has just run 11 marathons in 11 days as he strives to complete 100 of the challenges by the time he is 40.
The father-of-two from Whitstable, a personal trainer at Active Life in the town, is raising money for the Pilgrims Hospices.
So far he has run 81 marathons since May 2014 and has 19 left.
He said: “Every marathon is a challenge and I quite like the muddy and hilly events.
“I have found a real love for running and enjoy the accomplishment and have a pretty impressive medal collection.
“If I can raise awareness and funds for the Pilgrims Hospices as well, I will be delighted.
“Although I have no personal experiences of their care, I know how important their service is.”
Glenn, 39, has previously completed an Iron Man event in Wales – a 2.4 mile swim, a 112-mile cycle ride and a 26-mile run.
His next race is on Saturday at Ranscombe Farm, near Cuxton, but the following weekend he faces the biggest of his life – the 100-mile ultra marathon at Samphire Hoe, near Folkestone.
So far, he has raised almost £600, with all sponsorship money going to the Pilgrims Hospice.
