Police helicopter helps search for assault suspect in Whitstable

A man has been arrested after he allegedly assaulted a woman in Whitstable.

Police were called to a house at 11pm last night and the helicopter was used to help search for the suspect.

The 28-year-old man was found in a wooded area at around 1am.

He is currently in police custody.
